KUALA LUMPUR, June 13 (Bernama) — Traffic offenders who received summons for tinted vehicles, prior to amendments to the new laws, are not exempted, said Bukit Aman Traffic chief, SAC Mohd Fuad Abd. Latiff.
He said it was still considered an offence because the light transmission level of the front windshield was at 70 percent and the rear windshield and passengers windows at 50 percent.
“The police abide by the Road Transport Department’s decision and will postpone the tinted vehicles operation until we receive a report on the permitted light transmission level,” he told reporters after officiating the police motorcycle convoy …
