State BSN director Azman Abdul Aziz said the distribution was from 7am until 9am at the Seremban train station, Terminal 1 bus station, Wisma Persekutuan building and the Negeri Sembilan BSN office, here.
“This is the first time this programme is being held in conjunction with BSN’s 40th anniversary.
“It is carried out simultaneously throughout the country, with 40,000 packets of nasi lemak distributed at 40 locations by 13 BSN branches,” he told Bernama, here.
He said nasi lemak was chosen as it was symbolic of the traditional local food, a favourite with all communities in the country and enjoyed at all times of the day.
