PERTH, Nov 13 (Bernama) — Malaysian Deputy Prime Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin called on Western Australian Premier Colin Barnett here Thursday.
The meeting took place at Barnett’s office in Parliament Place on the final day of Muhyiddin’s two-day visit to Perth.
He later proceeded to the office of Fugro Survey Pty Ltd for a briefing on the search for missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.
The company is involved in efforts to locate the Malaysian Boeing 777 jetliner which vanished on March 8 en route to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur.
The plane with 239 people aboard is believed to have gone down in southern Indian Ocean after inexplicably veering off course.
