KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 (Bernama) — Boeing is providing technical assistance in the investigation of the Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 incident at the request of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
In a statement Wednesday, the manufacturer of the plane also said their thoughts and deepest sympathies continue to be with the families and loved ones of those who were on board.
The Boeing 777, with 283 passengers and 15 crew members onboard, was on its way from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it crashed in Donetsk, eastern Ukraine last Thursday, believed to have been fired upon by a surface-to-air missile.
