SINGAPORE, May 22 (Bernama) — The state visit to Singapore of Malaysia’s Yang di-Pertuan Agong has been hailed as having strengthened bilateral relations.
This was stated by Singapore’s High Commissioner to Malaysia Ong Keng Yong and Malaysia’s High Commissioner to Singapore Datuk Husni Zai Yaacob.
Tuanku Abdul Halim and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah made the state visit beginning Sunday but had to cut short the visit by a day and return to Malaysia on Wednesday.
This followed the passing away of the chairman of the Kedah Council of Regency, Tan Sri Tunku Annuar Sultan Badlishah, brother of Tuanku Abdul Halim….
