Khalid received the Darjah Panglima Mangku Negara (PMN) which carries the title ‘Tan Sri’ at an investiture held at the Istana Negara. He was the only recipient of the PMN.
Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah was also present at the investiture.
Tuanku Abdul Halim presented the Darjah Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM), which also carries the title ‘Tan Sri’, to nine people.
They are Federal Court judges Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali and Tan Sri Tan Kok Wha; Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad chairman Senator Tan Sri Mohd Ali Mohd Rustam; Jopami Group of Companies executive chairman Tan Sri Abdahir Abdul Majid and Sime Corp Malaysia chairman Tan Sri Dr Mohamed Al-Amin Abdul Majid.

Istana Negara religious officer Datuk Abd Aziz alias Aziz Che Yacob and army ADC for the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Brig Gen Datuk Mohd Nizam Jaafar both received the Darjah Panglima Setia Diraja which carries the title ‘Datuk’.
Four people received the Darjah Johan Mangku Negara, namely Puan Sri Masnah Muhamat, Prof Dr Ali Yeon Md Shakaff, Dr Arbayah Rais and ‘Allauddin Anuar.
Tuanku Abdul Halim presented the Darjah Johan Setia Mahkota to 11 people; the Kesatria Mangku Negara to 27; the Kesatria Setia Diraja to three; the Ahli Mangku Negara to 69; the Pingat Pangkuan Negara to 90 and the Bentara Setia Diraja to 24.
