ALOR SETAR, May 21 (Bernama) — The Kedah Regency Council chairman, Tan Sri Tunku Annuar Sultan Badlishah, died in Pantai Hospital in Ipoh, Perak at 12.20am Wednesday.
Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Tun Dr Mahathir said funeral prayers for Tunku Annuar will be held in Istana Anak Bukit, here at 3pm today.
“His remains will lie in state in Dewan Penghadapan of Istana Anak Bukit from 1pm to 3pm for the last respects,” he said when announcing the sad news via Kedah.fm today.
Mukhriz said the remains of Tunku Annuar will be buried in the Kedah Royal Mausoleum in Langgar after Asar prayers.
