General : Japan Embassy Offers Master’s Degree Scholarships

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 13 (Bernama) — The Japanese Embassy on Wednesday offered the Japanese Government Scholarships (Monbukagakusho:MEXT) for its Young Leaders Programme (YLP) 2015 to Malaysian graduates aspiring to further their studies for master’s degree.

According to a Japanese Embassy statement, application is open from Sept 19 and the courses offered are Master of Business Management, Master of Law, Master of Public Management or Master of Public Legislation (government schools) and Master of Health Management.

The courses are for one year from October 2015 to September 2016 except for Business Management which starts from September 2015 to August 2016.

Applicants must be below 35 years old on Sept 1, 2015, fluent in English, taken the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and have at least three years working experience for business management course.

Meanwhile for other courses, applicants should be below 40 years as at Oct 1, 2015 and have at least three years working experience in the government sector and four years working experience in corporate legal department or government department.
