Lower Perak District Civil defence Department officer Mohd Fazly Mohamad Zawawi said the centre, which was opened since last Tuesday, was closed at 3 pm.
“All the victims were allowed to go home after the flood waters subsided and their houses were safe to be occupied,” he said when contacted here.
The flood that hit Lower Perak district which began last Nov 24, affected three settlements at Lorong Mesra in Batu 7, Lorong Setia in Batu 11 and Kampung Batu 9.
This is the second time Changkat Jong was affected by floods within two weeks after Sungai Bidor broke its banks due to heavy rains and spilled water to the residential areas.
The first flood which occurred last Nov 14 affected 56 victims from 16 families.
