“Civil servants need to constantly have integrity on what they do. Our job in the civil service is to continuously encourage civil servants to become officers of high integrity,” he told reporters here after officiating the second Wives of Civil Servants and Women Civil Servants Association (Puspanita) annual meeting here Tuesday.
He was commenting on the misconduct and corruption cases involving civil servants, including enforcement officers arrested by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) as were reportedly recently.
MACC would continue to take action against any officers who lacked integrity, he said.
