JOHOR BAHARU, April 15 (Bernama) — Live cattle from Australia will be allowed for slaughter in the country after complying with the requirements of animal welfare standards enforced by the country.
Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the approval to slaughter Australian cattle in the country would help meet the increasing demand.
