JOHOR BARU: Despite the burden of having to go for dialysis three times a week, teacher Maisura Abd Jalil remains passionate about her job to teach underprivileged kids at a school for the blind here.
In fact, the children helped her to forget her own worries because they needed more attention and care than her, said the 31-year-old wheelchair bound teacher.
“When I see the kids, I feel the need to be there for them. I am spurred to ensure that they learn well,” said Maisura, who teaches at SKPK Princess Elizabeth.
