KOTA BARU: Solo cyclist Wan Hashim Wan Mahmood, 68, who created history by cycling round the peninsula in 28 days early this year, now plans to go on a round Europe cycling trip in August.
The grandfather of 18 grandchildren said he hoped to cycle round several European countries such as Britain and Holland.
“I will visit several major cities in those countries and the expedition is scheduled to start in August.
“Nonetheless, the plan depends on contributions as the journey will incur huge expenditure and I hope to receive sufficient sponsorship to accomplish the mission,” he told Bernama Tuesday.
