Dr Mahathir Mohamad should not have resigned as prime minister since his vision has not been achieved, said PAS vice-president Tuan Man Tuan Ibrahim.
“If Mahathir appointed anyone after quitting, his 2020 vision (to achieve a developed nation status) would not be achieved,” he added in a Harakahdaily report.
Tuan Ibrahim said Mahathir should not just stop at reprimanding Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and must push for his resignation.
On the other hand, he said if Najib had pride, he would quit following the former premier’s scathing criticism.
