THE wedding that almost brought down the Terengganu government is over.
Everyone had a good time yesterday and the father of the bride, Datuk Seri Ahmad Said, looked pleased as Punch especially when the Prime Minister himself turned up.
Ahmad, as most would know by now, had cited his daughter’s wedding as the reason for quitting Umno in a huff last Monday. It was the mother of all excuses and no one really believes it.
