KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 29 (Bernama) — The Malaysia Design Development Centre (DDEC) will organise a three-month design competition in conjunction with Design Summit 3.0. to recognise original, creative and innovative ideas in the fields of product and packaging design.
The competition will kickoff on Oct 1, 2014 until Dec 31, 2014.
DDEC said the design competition was open to professionals, university and college students and secondary school students.
“Winners will be judged based on originality of ideas, product innovation, creativity, design functionality and extra value-added features like good use of technology, creative material exploration, good environmental factor (green design) and more,” it said in a statement.
Top 15 winners would be selected and their designs would be showcased throughout Design Summit 3.0.
