Transformasi Mahasiswa UUM president Ahmad Fitri Mohd Ramly said the students were forced to organise their gathering inside the surau after they were prohibited by the university administration from holding it on campus.
While admitting the students had ‘overlooked’ the issue of decorum in the prayer area, he defended their decision.
