Guan Eng knows Anwar is innocent
DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng vouched for Anwar Ibrahim's innocence today when he said "he has been having back problems".
The Penang Chief Minister said he had been around Anwar alot since 2008 and saw that he was in pain.
"He has gone to Germany for surgery. He is in pain," Guan Eng told the 1,000 strong crowd at the solidarity ceramah for Anwar at the Han Chiang High School last night.
"I, too, have been in jail. We slept on the cement. Sometimes it's hot, sometimes, cold. Even a good back can be destroyed that way," Guan Eng added.
"I know he is wearing a brace to support his back. It's not easy to move with that. It is very painful," he stressed.
"Wearing such a back brace, how can he (Anwar) be stronger than a six foot young man, to sodomise him?" Guan Eng asked to loud applaud from the crowd.
