Pahang Culture and Tourism Committee chairman, Datuk Seri Mohd Sharkar Shamsuddin said tourism industry players at the national park were now in the process cleaning up their facilities and undertaking the necessary repairs owing to damage due to the floods.
“We also working with various government agencies and non-governmental organisations to spruce up popular tourist sports at the national park,” he told reporters after participating in a post-floods gotong-royong organised by Pahang Tourism at the park yesterday.
Some 150 volunteers from various government agencies and NGOs took part in the gotong-royong (community effort).
