Former MIC strategic director S Vell Paari has reminded party president G Palanivel that the party is not the latter's "private property".
This is in response to Palanivel's assurances yesterday that he will not allow the party to be deregistered by the Registrar of Societies (ROS).
"From his statement it's clear he is in pursuit of a legal confrontation. I put it to him that this is not just another civil suit," Vell Paari said in a statement today.
