JEDDAH, May 8 (Bernama) — Malaysia will host the Asia Media Summit (AMS) in 2015, after the last time it hosted the summit in 2008.
Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek said Malaysia was the original host of the prestigious event in 2004.
After the summit was held in Malaysia for five consecutive years, it was taken to other countries and will return to Malaysia after six years.
“On behalf of the Malaysian government, I invite all those involved to come for the AMS2015 in Kuala Lumpur, the place of its birth,” said Ahmad Shabery in his speech at the closing of AMS2014, in Jeddah, Wednesday….
