TAWAU, April 30 (BERNAMA) — The Suluk ethnic community in Sabah has been urged not to be influenced by provocative actions by a group who displayed the flags of the self-proclaimed Sulu Sultanate in Kampung Long Danau, Lahad Datu near here last week.
Describing the action of flying the flags as a lack of patriotic fervour, Eastern Sabah Security Command (ESSCom) director-general Datuk Mohammad Mentek said ESSCom would thwart any attempts to incite local communities by any means, including flying the Sulu Sultanate flags in the Eastern Sabah Security Zone (ESSZone).
