GUA MUSANG, April 29 (Bernama) — An express bus belonging to Shamisha Holiday skidded into a drain at Km 3.5 Jalan Gua Musang-Kuala Krai near Bandar Utama here Tuesday, but all the 29 passengers onboard escaped unhurt.
Gua Musang district police chief Supt Saiful Bahri Abdullah said the bus, which was from Kuala Lumpur and on its way to Rantau Panjang, skidded into the drain at about 3.30am.
The bus driver was believed to have lost control of the wheel when taking a bend while descending a hill, causing the vehicle to veer into the opposite path and plunged into the drain, he said when contacted.
