A coalition of 11 associations representing artistes and creative industry players are still waiting for a response from the Communications and Multimedia Ministry.
This is regarding the group’s demands for higher rates for content aired on television, as part of its ‘Switch Off ‘14 – Program Interrupted’ campaign.
Chairperson of the group Jurey Latiff Rosli said the minister, Ahmad Shabery Cheek, did not address the issue it raised during a post-budget briefing for the digital creative content industry in Angkasapuri last night.
