GEORGE TOWN: The time for public to pay their last respect at the funeral of Karpal Singh in Dewan Sri Pinang has been changed as cortege will leave Karpal’s house in Jalan Utama on Sunday at 7.30am.
The cortege is expected to arrive at Dewan Sri Pinang at 7.45am, said Penang DAP chairman Chow Kon Yeow who is leading the Penang state honours committee.
The funeral to be conducted with Penang state honours will be opened to public from 8.30am to 10.15am.
“Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng is to deliver a eulogy after 10.15am.
“This is followed by the state government paying their last respect.
