Selangor menteri besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim still has executive powers, including to sign agreements on the state's behalf, the Selangor legal advisor said.
Responding to Klang MP Charles Santiago, Nik Suhaimi Nik Sulaiman said this is as the Selangor sultan still recognises Khalid as the sitting MB, in accordance with the Selangor constitution.
"So Khalid is still has full powers to fulfill his duties, functions and obligations as menteri besar," he said in a statement late today.
