Upon arrival at about 9.20 am, he said the latest information on the political crisis in Selangor would be announced after the exco meeting.
The four state executive councillors from PAS namely Dr Halimah Ali, Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi, Iskandar Abdul Samad and Sallehen Mukhyi were seen entering the SUK building to attend the exco meeting.
Meanwhile, the six dismissed Exco members were seen entering their respective offices but did not attend the Exco meeting.
Two of the terminated Exco members from DAP, Datuk Teng Chang Khim and V. Ganabatirau said they were going to office as usual but would not be attending any of the state government Exco related meetings as directed by the party.
Commenting on whether the opposition coalition government in Selangor is still in existence, Teng said the state government has been hijacked by an independent state assemblyman.
Another Exco from DAP, Ean Yong Hian Wah who came to his office at 11 am, said he would not be attending the Exco meeting and called on Abdul Khalid to resign immediately.
He said Abdul Khalid needed to do so as the Selangor government was formed after the 13th general assembly by the opposition coalition and not by an independent state assemblyman.
“Khalid should remember that the mandate given by the rakyat last year is for PR, not for himself…I am requesting him to step down immediately and return power to the rakyat,” he said.
Ean said the participation of PAS Exco members in the state Exco meeting was seen as not respecting the spirit of the cooperation of the opposition coalition.
An Exco member of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), Elizabeth Wong Keat Ping who was also terminated called on all PAS Exco members not to attend the meeting.
Elizabeth, who was seen entering the SUK building at about 10.35 am, said she was only carrying out her duty as usual and declined to comment on the political crisis in Selangor.
Yesterday, Abdul Khalid dismissed six Exco members from DAP and PKR as they did not support his administration.
Abdul Khalid was expelled by PKR for refusing to resign as ordered by the party to give way to party president Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
He, however, held on to the Menteri Besar post after obtaining the consent of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
