Former Selangor menteri besar Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo's appeal against his conviction and 12 months jail term for corruption will be heard by the Federal Court on Aug 28.
Federal Court corporate communications and international relations head Mohd Aizuddin Zolkeply today informed the media of the hearing date.
On April 15, this year, the hearing of the appeal was postponed to an unspecified date as Dr Khir's counsel Muhammad Shafee Abdullah was attending a conference in Japan.
