Jordanian news agency, Petra, reported that Jordan’s representative in the UN Security Council stressed on the importance of a thorough investigation on the incident so that those responsible were brought to justice.
He said it was also vital to protect the crash site from being encroached and disturbed with the cooperation of all parties concerned.
The UN Security Council, which debated on Resolution No.2166, unanimously condemned the parties involved in the incident.
MH17 Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 which was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed in east Ukraine on July 17.
The foreign ministers of Netherlands, Australia and Luxembourg also took part in the Security Council debate.
