Leash Ramasamy to avoid May 13, DAP told
Two BN party reps have called on DAP to either discipline or sack Penang deputy chief minister II P Ramasamy for saying he is not afraid of May 13, 1969 racial riot threats.
Gerakan Youth leader Tan Keng Liang (left) said that if DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang was sincere in his offer to work with BN on prevent another May 13, he should ensure DAP takes serious action against Ramasamy first.
"Such a statement is irresponsible and totally uncalled for. To date, Ramasamy has not retracted his challenge or issued any apology for his outburst," Tan said in a press statement.
