BACHOK, June 25 (Bernama) — Police arrested 2,290 traffic offenders in 989 operations up to yesterday under “Op Warta Khas” conducted throughout the country.
Federal police Internal Security and Public Order director, Datuk Seri Salleh Mat Rasid said 50,694 checks were made on drivers and vehicle owners in the effort to track down 1.9 million traffic offenders who failed to settle their traffic summonses and issued with warrants of arrest.
