KUALA LUMPUR, June 23 (Bernama) — Strong south-westerly winds and rough seas in the waters of Perlis and Kedah are expected to continue until Friday.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department said wind speeds of 40 to 50km per hour and waves reaching 3.5m, were dangerous for small boats, water recreation and sea sports.
Strong category two winds and seas were forecasted in the waters of Phuket until Friday with wind speeds of 50 to 60km per hour and waves measuring 4.5m, according to the department in a statement, here, today.
