Laughing your way to good health with 'laughter yoga'

JOHOR BARU: Laughter is indeed the best medicine for Sheena Tan as she has managed to keep her asthma at bay after trying out “laughter yoga” a couple of years ago.

The 35-year-old housewife said when she was a little girl, she could not participate in sports and games in school as she would suffer from breathing difficulties and need to use the inhaler often.

“Even when I was doing housework, I’d get asthma attacks because of the dust and after walking up and down the stairs,” she said at the World Laughter Day celebration at Taman Merdeka here yesterday.
