PORT DICKSON, Nov 7 (Bernama) — A cycling event is to be held here on Monday to further promote Port Dickson as a tourist town, according to the Negeri Sembilan Tourism Board.
Its general manager, Baharudin Jali, said today 60 people had already signed up for the 1Malaysia Media Cycling Programme which was expected to draw 150 participants.
The programme, for 3-1/2 hours from 8.30 am and organised by the board and Utusan Malaysia, would see the participants cycle a distance of six kilometres, from the Army Museum to the Bagan Pinang Beach, he said.
Participants would have to bring their own bicycles and must be properly attired, complete with helmets, he told Bernama.
