With Malaysia’s unimpressive performances in two recent prestigious sporting events, NGO Solidarity Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM) expressed disappointment in Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin's lack of "progressive ideas” and called for his resignation.
SAMM's sports coordinator Zuraidi Abdullah, in a statement today, said that Khairy needed to come up with a winning formula if he doesn't want to end up a failure.
“If Khairy fails to improve the development of sport in the nation, he need not “whisper” in Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's ear to change ministries. He should just resign”, said Zuraidi.
