PAS Youth information chief Mohd Nasaie Ismail said the principles behind Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin's proposal for a Malay Land Trust Council was noble.
"However, Khairy needs to ask his Umno colleagues, whose fault is it that Malay reserve land has been pawned off?
"Who had approved the clearing up of traditional kampung around the entire Kuala Lumpur city to be converted into non-reserve land, and given to the large taukays like (infrastructure conglomerate) YTL to be developed?" asked Mohd Nasaie in a statement today.
