Perkasa president Ibrahim Ali today said that PAS must lead Pakatan Rakyat, if the coalition is serious about competing with the BN in a two-party system.
He said that this is as PAS is a Malay-majority party like Umno, which leads the BN.
He said that this formula is used by BN to reflect Malaysia’s racial demographics.
"If PAS takes the lead of Pakatan leadership and DAP is not big-headed and mellows down a little like MCA, I believe this could be a starting point (for the Malaysian political landscape)."
