Penang Umno leader Khairuddin Abu Hassan claimed that he was not allowed to raise the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) issue during last month’s party annual general assembly: http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/283331
Apart from being told by other delegates not to voice out on this matter, the Batu Kawan Umno vice-chief also said the management committee did not permit him to debate on 1MDB.
This afternoon, Khairuddin, who was once known to be a staunch supporter of former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad, lodged a police report over 1MDB and its directors.
