PAS secretary general Mustafa Ali said that the Kelantan state government’s proposal to amend the the Hudud Act on 29 Dec does not go against the agreements in Pakatan Rakyat.
“In principle, this issue (of differences of opinion on hudud) has been agreed upon.
“The only thing now is that the strategy and approach is different,” said Mustafa, when contacted by Malaysiakini.
He said that the details pertaining to the amendment will be presented to the PAS tops which include central committee members this Sunday, on 28 Dec.
