KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 14 (Bernama) — Strong winds and rough sea conditions are expected to continue for the next 72 hours with winds over 50kmph and waves rising up to 3.5 metres.
According to a statement issued by the Meteorological Department today, thunderstorm activities occurring over waters off Kedah, Penang, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Sarawak (Miri, Bintulu and Mukah) and the Federal Territory of Labuan are expected to continue until noon Thursday.
Meanwhile, thunderstorms over the waters off Bunguran, Reef South, Reef North and Sulu are also expected to continue until noon Thursday.
This conditions are dangerous for small boats and ships over the waters of the said locations said the statement.
