KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 21 (Bernama) – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today prays for the good health of PAS spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, who is being treated in a Kelantan hospital since Tuesday.
“Hopefully Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz is blessed with good health by Allah and make a quick recovery,” he said in his latest posting on Facebook and Twitter.
Nik Aziz,84, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital (HUSM), Kubang Kerian, Kota Baharu, Kelantan on Monday.
The health of the former Kelantan menteri besar deteriorated since the massive floods in Kelantan last month.
He also suffers from prostate cancer.
His son, Nik Mohamad Abduh said today his father was reported to be in stable condition and reacted better to all the treatment given.
Nik Aziz, who became Kelantan Menteri Besar in 1990, handed the post to his deputy, Datuk Ahmad Yakob after the 13th general election in 2013.
