General : Sabah Federal Depts, Agencies Fly National Flag At Half Mast Over Demise Of Perak Sultan

KOTA KINABALU, May 29 (Bernama) — All federal departments and agencies in Sabah are required to fly the national flag at half mast for seven days from today as a mark of respect for the late Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah.

Sabah federal secretary Datuk Abu Bakar Hassan said in a statement Thursday that their cooperation in the matter would be highly appreciated.

Sultan Azlan Shah passed away at 1.30 pm yesterday at the National Heart Institute in Kuala Lumpur. His Royal Highness was 86.
